With no discussion, at the August 22, 2023 Board Work Session the Plano ISD Board of Trustees approved Saturday, May 25, 2024 for graduation services at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco for the 3 senior high schools.
Parents take note as this is a break from the customary graduation date which has been the Saturday after Memorial Day Weekend. The new date means that graduation will occur the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, immediately proceeding the final day of classes.
To date, parents have received no communication about this, including parents of seniors. Plano ISD also quietly updated their website to reflect the graduation dates for all campuses.
