Back to School

It’s that time of year again.

Students are enjoying their final days of summer break. Teachers are back on campus preparing for school to start next week. Parents are getting ready for tax-free, back-to-school shopping this weekend.

But before all the (taxpayer-funded) hoopla and fanfare that is sure to kick-in from Plano ISD next week, let’s take a look at what they’re hoping you won’t notice.

Despite its severe leadership failures, Plano ISD does still have some phenomenal educators who are also victims of this off-the-rails administration. Teachers are impacted when:
their work environments are unsafe,
students feel unprotected and vulnerable,
parents are afraid to volunteer,
discrimination is pervasive, and
they personally and professionally fear retribution should they dare to speak up about their concerns.

School board, unless you change leadership, this will be your #DistrictMade legacy.
